What is the difference between LED & Incandescent Lights?

LED – “Lighting Emitting Diode”

Uses 1/10th the energy consumption compared to standard incandescent mini light bulbs. (100 LED bulbs requires 50 watts of electricity per hour).
Has a bulb life of 10,000 plus continuous hours.
The bulbs are cool to touch and keeps lighting safe to use indoor and out.
The bulbs have an epoxy lens and are virtually indestructible.
20 strands of 70-100 lights can be connected end to end without over loading the fuses in the strands
If a bulb goes out, the other bulbs will stay lit due to parallel wiring.

Incandescent – Conventional Holiday Lights

100 incandescent bulbs requires 500 watts of electricity per hour.
Has a bulb life of 3,000 hours.
The bulbs tend to get warm after long periods of time.
The bulbs have a glass lens and can break upon impact.
6 strands of 100 lights can be connected end to end without over loading the fuses in the strands.
If a bulb goes out, you must locate the bulb and replace it. It may also create the other bulbs in the line to go out as well.
